So it didn't go very well at the dentist. I got 5 shots of whatevercaine and my cheek got numb but my teeth didn't. So then the dentist said to go see a specialist because it just wasn't gonna happen for me.
Now I'm at home and the pain is starting because I'm not numb anymore.
I have plans to go see Borat tonight but ow. I don't know if it's a good idea.
I finally had enough of tossing and turning all night so I'm up. Vicodinafied. Toothaches are the worst. WORSE THAN CHILDBIRTH. i mean, if they last for weeks like mine have. There's no cute baby at the end...
I'm looking through some of my flickr favorites, like Trip Print Press, mav, evanichole and compiling a folder of fresh ideas and inspiration. I do that alot. Jon is kinda pushing me to make a list of things I need to get my letterpress going, because I've been sort of whining that I don't use it and that I'm sad to see it just sit there and because he's being a very cute and supportive husband.
I don't need much for my press,but I am just so scared of being mediocre at EVERYTHING that I don't want to try anything. I guess I should have considered this before I went crazy tracking down a press. But I want to do it and I have ideas. I'm just afraid.
I am tired of being mediocre at everything. I want to be good at something.
I've been out of the loop lately, hopped up on happy pills and reeling from the pain of my root canal needing teeth, but I finally ventured out in public and realized that my box is on display throughout the county!
I designed the logo, etc for this box a few months ago and then I heard nothing else about it, so I figured, like most things I do, this would not go anywhere. But here it is, in 3D form, and being used to collect winter coats, etc. for children in need, throughout Sussex County, NJ. Kinda cool.
In other news, I made some revisions to my wishlist and it's now updated over in the middle column. If you're feeling generous, I'm willing to warmly recieve your gifts!
